it’s over 230 years old and that my room even served
as an old stable.

As I progressed in my investigation, I found
press articles that really alarmed me. Particularly a
newspaper that told the tragic end of an abandoned
child, the incident had apparently taken place on my
street 107 years ago, but nothing confirmed that it
was in my house. I totally had to do more research on
this story.

In my street lived an old lady who certainly had
information about what could have happened to this
little boy. Even though the story was old, I went to
ring her house in the afternoon to ask her if she had
ever heard of it. She was very surprised to hear about
it because she was also interested in it a few years
ago. She told me what I wanted to know from the
start: the child actually lived in my house and the
room in which I slept was the place where he had
been found! It was crazy, I was obsessed with the
story she was telling me, I was attentive to every
detail that I could hear from her. When it was time to
go home, I knew that I was going to do everything to
get in touch with the child.
