A £1.2m refurbishment of a townhouse in Knightsbridge from the neighboring property
involving the construction of a new basement level, has
been completed. An existing ground floor lightwell was
extended into the basement to provide natural light and an
outdoor terrace. A contemporary glass extension has been
designed at ground floor level which overlooks the lightwell
creating an extension to the kitchen, drawing light into the
open living area. The new second floor extension provides
a bathroom and is designed with floor to ceiling translucent
glass channels on the external façade to maintain privacy
