as we gather
for picnics along
its banks, enjoying
the cool breeze
and peaceful waters.
The river is full of
fish and other
animals it's where
we find our foodand
enjoy family outings.
Sitting by the river,
watching the water flow
and listening to its
sounds, brings peace
and calm to my heart.
