3.  OUTCOMES
               The following measures are being adopted to ensure safety, security, hygiene and sanitation and waste
               management for the Campus.

               •  Security Officers are strategically detailed in the Campus to ensure peace and order in the Campus and
                  to safeguard properties within;
               •  NO ID, NO UNIFORM, NO- ENTRY Policy is fully enforced.
               •  Fire extinguishers are installed in every building.
               •  Electrical maintenance is practices regularly and if need arises, immediate repair are undertaken;
               •  Mufflerized vehicle/motorcycle are not allowed inside the University/campus premises;
               •  Posting of signage around the campus;
               •  Strict implementation of speed limit and get pass to all vehicles;
               •  A copy of activity permit is furnished to the security guard for proper monitoring;
               •  Provision of peripheral fence;
               •  Maintenance of road network;
               •  Janitors are assigned in each college to ensure cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, and officers;

               •  Waste disposal and management is widely disseminated among constituent;
               •  Clean and green program is implemented in University;
               •  Involvement of organization in clean up drive;
               •  Adoption and implementation of the principles of 5S.

               4.  BEST PRACTICES

                         To further ensure excellence and relevance in the delivery of instruction, the University has pushed
                  the bar higher to apply for an ISO certification and it successfully passed the rigorous evaluation in May,
                  2014.

                         The scope of the certification include provision of instruction for Higher and Advanced Education
                  for College of Agriculture, College of Engineering, School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Teacher
                  Education, College of Business, Accountancy and Public Administration, College of Nursing, Institute of
                  Information and Communication Technology and College of Arts and Sciences. The University has plans
                  to cascade this move for ISO certification to its campuses in the next years.
