from barren to lush
The island of Kura Kura Bali is today almost completely
covered in dense green forests and Serangan is no longer that
remote, barren island that time forgot. It stands as a proud and
shining beacon to what can be done with hard work, vision and
dedication.
Apart from planting 200,000 trees, Kura Kura Bali today also
houses Bali’s largest nursery. It is now in a position to offer, to
contribute to greening the mountains of the rest of Bali to
protect water sources that are under threat due to
deforestation.
