I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the management of Bali Turtle
                                                                                   Island (Kura Kura Bali) which has started the development here that has been eagerly
                                                                                   awaited by our people in Bali. Similarly, I would like to convey my appreciation to your
                                                                                   respect for the customs, culture and Hindu religion we practice in Bali by organizing this
                                                                                   ritual.

                                                                                   As I frequently say that the basic philosophy of the Bali’s development is the ‘Tri Hita
                                                                                   Karana’. ‘Tri’ means Three; ‘Hita’ means Happiness and ‘Karana‘ means Causes. These
                                                                                   are the routes of happiness of our life in this world: The balance and harmony of human
                                                                                   relationship to our Creator; secondly the harmony and balance with fellow human beings
                                                                                   and thirdly with our environment.

                                                                                   May the management of Bali Turtle Island (Kura Kura Bali) really take care of Bali whole-
                                                                                   heartedly. Because, based on our belief, every inch of the land of Bali has ‘Taksu’ or
                                                                                   spiritual vibration that must be respected and always protected.

                                                                                   I ask of Bali Turtle Island (Kura Kura Bali), people often tell me ‘I want to build in Bali.’ My
                                                                                   hope is you ‘don’t build in Bali,’ but ‘build Bali’ in its holistic way. .. If one builds (hotel)
                                                                                   in Bali, takes advantage, ignores the environment, takes the money and leaves Bali, it
                                                                                   means one is not thankful nor appreciative of the people in Bali.
                                                                                   I  have  confidence  that  the  management  of  Bali  Turtle  Island  (Kura  Kura  Bali)  will  pay
                                                                                   great attention to these values. I believe that based on a pure heart, , good intent as well
                                                                                   as proper implementation, I am assured that Bali Turtle Island (Kura Kura Bali) will be
                                                                                   successful with the community of Serangan and Bali.

                                                                                   I am sure God will bless all of us here in Bali and may the development implementations
                                                                                   go greatly!
