34 ALL IOWA SHOP HOP NORTH CENTRAL REGION
Insignia Star Points:
1. Pin and sew long edge of one red HST to short edge of one aqua QST as shown. Press seam open. Repeat to opposite side. Press seam open. Will measure 4-1/20 3 8-1/20. Make 4 flying geese units.
2. Pin and sew one aqua 4-1/20 square to opposite ends of one flying geese unit as shown. Press seams to aqua squares. Will measure 4-1/20 3 16-1/20. Make 2 top/bottom rows.
3. Pin and sew one flying geese unit to opposite sides of one Quilt Shop Hop block center as shown. Press to Quilt Shop Hop block center. Will measure 8-1/20 3 16-1/20. Make one center row.
4. Arrange top/bottom rows and one center row as shown. Pin and sew rows into block. Press seams to top/bottom rows. Will measure 16-1/20 3 16-1/20. Make 1 Insignia block.
5. Repeat star point steps to make stars using the quantities and colors stated in NOTE above.
