Conclusion :While there are reasonable arguments both for and against the capital
punishment, it is totally upon the wisdom of the law to make a decision. After
considering all the factors, a very careful decision should be made in matters of the
capital punishment. Taking a life is a heinous action both for a criminal and the
government. In such a situation, it is important to gather as much evidence and proof
as possible before making this decision. Wrongful convictions remain a very
sensitive subject when it comes to capital punishment. Even the law states that an
innocent should not be punished even if 100 culprits go free.
