An MNC is a company which has its business expanded to various countries of the
world in the form of foreign branches, subsidiaries etc
The operations may be controlled by the headquarters in one country.
The marketing and investment operations may be in various countries.

• MNCs are said to rule the economy today . The top 300 MNCs control about
25% of the world's economy. The American MNCS controlled the world
market previously but today MNCs are run by Japanese, Germans, Indians
etc
• Micromax Informatics, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj,Dabur, Parle agro, Café Coffee
day etc are notably some of the best MNCs in india.
• From 1991 to 2012, the number of MNCs in India increased by 4 times and a

• Hindustan Unilever ltd (HUL) and Maruti Suzuki were the dominating MNCs
