Introduction
Corruption has vitally distressed Indian economy. The central, state or local
government agencies are constantly suffering due to increase in corruption. Not only
the economy is facing a huge loss, but the gearing development of India has also
witnessed a breakdown due to corruption. Studies show that almost all Indians have
paid bribe to get jobs and admissions in educational institutes. 50% Indians have
also offered bribe and used their contacts to get their public sector/ government
sector related work quickly. India’s trucking industry is also one of the areas invoking
bribery. People are forced to pay billions of rupees at highways and police stops.
