Tax rise affects Group
Insurance Schemes
The Government has increased the standard rate of insurance Retired officers
premium tax (IPT) from 9.5 to 10 per cent which has led to
increased premiums for the West Midlands Police Federation Group Scheme Current premium Premium as of
Insurance Scheme. The new monthly premiums for the schemes
will come into effect from 1 October 2016. 1 October 2016
