About Our Standard Models…
Our basic homes are not stripped down versions!

You may choose to add windows, bathrooms, upgrade siding materials
and make other changes but it is important to know that even our most
basic models are fully func oning homes. We have many sa sfied clients
who have chosen to build our standard cabin/homes with no upgrades
at all.

Specifica ons for Standard Models.

Please see the “Sec on” drawing at le for addi onal informa on on the
construc on details of these high quality homes.

The following are “standard’ features.

 Lo floors are distressed 2x10 planks supported by double 2x8 beams,
stained slightly darker than walls and ceilings.
 Cathedral ceilings are finished with 1x12 pine planks (ship lap).
 All walls are 1x8 pine planks (tongue & groove).
 Floors are 1x10 pine, stained and finished with 3 coats of polyurethane.
 Windows and/or pa o doors: Vector brand vinyl sliders, lo e and argon
filled.
 All interior doors are cabin style with rus c hinges & handles and
protected
with 3 coats of lacquer.
 All trim is 1x3 custom made pine.
 All pine paneling is finished with “Velvit Oil” penetra ng stain.
 The hea ng systems are high-efficiency, forced air.
 Roof shingles are 30 year textured.
 Electrical is to code. There is one overhead fan included. Electrified oil
lamps are included throughout the house. Clients may specify addi onal
electrical.
 Hot water heater is 50 gallon electric..
 The home is finished in an old- me rus c style.
 Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vani es are rus c pine and built by
Northwood Design.
 There is a washer/dryer hookup.
 Bathroom fixtures are white fiberglass and white vanity tops.
 The exterior is finished with 4x8 rough sawn T-1-11 plywood siding w/2
coats of solid color stain. Many other types of siding are available.
