» Micro-D PCB socket with jackpot hardware used for rear mounting on panel walls
Micro-Ds are often mounted to an enclosure wall. In these cases, they can be either front-mounted or rear-mounted.
Rear mounting is more common. In these cases, the hardware passes through the enclosure wall.
M83513 is the governing standard for micro-Ds. The standard includes the slash sheet /05, which specifies mounting hardware for the micro-D family. This hardware is separate from the connector, but the M83513 solder cup and wire- terminated connectors are not available with retained hardware.
