MAN OF THE MOMENT…TOMMY CONWAY
“I train individually with Bristol City on Mondays and
Fridays and with Bath on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”
How have you settled into the club so far?
“I’ve settled in well and got to know all the players.
They have all taken to me really well and I’m looking
forward to getting to know them more and more as the
season goes on. “
Do you know many of your teammates,
presumably you would have played with
and against some at youth level with Bristol
City?
“I’ve known Callum Watts for a long time; even when
I was 6 years old we played district and county teams
together as well. I obviously know Tom Richards from
Bristol City U23s and I know of Jack Batten when he
was at the club.”
How would you describe yourself as
a player?
“I would describe myself as a player who loves to
score goals and work hard for the team, I like to link
the play and hold the ball up for my team mates.”
What personal and team targets do you
have this season?
“For me this season would be to get 20 goals and for
the team to get them promoted.”
Finally, you must have enjoyed your début,
stepping into the National League South, are

Can you tell Bath City fans a little bit about
your career to date?
“I’ve been at Bristol City since the age of 7 and have
come right through the academy. Last season I spent
time on loan at Yate, then recently signed my first
professional contract. And now I’m at Bath.”
How did your loan to City come about? Was
the plan always to go out on loan to this
level this year? Tommy (Number 14) opens the scoring here last Saturday against Winchester City.
“The aim was always to make a step up from last year
maybe even two. There were a few clubs interested but
Bath was the one which I and the club felt was best for
my development at this time.”
How do you juggle training with City and
your time at Bristol City?
