Important Notes
When the subject He, She, It, the
verb must be added with -s/es/ies.
Verb ending with “s”, “ss”, “ch”,
“sh”, “o”, and “x” add -es.
Example: watch > watches.
Verb ending with “y” after vowel,
add -s.
Example: play > plays.
Verb ending with “y” after
consonant add -ies.
Example: fly > flies.
Other than those mentioned
above, all verbs are added with -s.
Example: sweep > sweeps.
throw > throws.
