3. Language Features
When you write a recount text,
make sure you include the following
characteristics of the recount text.
Using simple past tense, because
it tells the events in the past.
Example:
When I was 10 years old, I learned to
ride on a bicycle.
Introducing personal participant.
Such as: I, my friend, my group,
etc.
Example:
I learned to ride a bicycle with my
friends, Dani and Ella.
