If you’re wanting to pursue a livestock project, give our Ag Agent, Charlie Martin, a call (817) 598-6172,
prior to the purchase of any livestock, and he can tell you the good, the bad and the ugly. Please note,
there are age requirements for each show. PCLIA allows for youth 6 years of age (as of Sept. 1 2024) to
exhibit (Note: this is younger than what major stock shows allow). It is the responsibility of the exhibitor
to review the rules of the show to make sure their age is eligible. Of course, you may always contact our
office and we can also go over age requirements.
