4-H FOOD PROJECT

Note: The $7 fee is to cover the cost of supplies for the meetings. All participants will have the
opportunity to sample dishes made at the meetings.
Please RSVP by Noon the Monday before the meeting
for planning purposes.
The Parker Co. 4-H Food and Nutrition project will meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.
The Food and Nutrition project meetings are hands on, immersive, meetings where all
participants get the opportunity to prepare dishes in a real kitchen setting. 4-H’ers will gain
knowledge and skills in food safety, food preparation, building well balanced meals and
exploring different foods by “Cooking Through the Decades”, putting a fun twist on dishes from
the past. Open to both clover age (K-7) and 4-H age youth. There is a non-refundable $7 fee for
each project meeting to cover the cost of supplies.
