22-23 ALL Major Stock Show - Steers
22-23 Registered Breeding Heifers (will be another in October) - 1 exhibitor per
animal, color copy of papers required.
2022 State Fair of Texas - Breeding/commercial and market lamb and goat
requirements for STFR.
The State Fair of Texas is requiring validation for registered breeding sheep,
registered breeding goats, wether/commercial dams, and wether commercial does and
market sheep and goats
Market Lamb - May be validated by family
Market Goats - May be validated by family
Wether Dams - May be validated by family - validation good for 3 years unless change
of ownership.
Wether Does - May be validated by family - validation good for 3 years unless change
of ownership.
Registered Breeding Sheep - ***may be family validated if all exhibitors are listed on
papers***, color copy of papers required at time of validation - validation good for 3
years unless change of ownership.
Registered Breeding Boer Goats - Family Validation is not available at this time. Color
copy of papers required at time of validation - validation good for 3 years unless a
change of ownership.
***Please note all sheep and goat tags (market and breeding) are interchangeable. If
you ordered a market lamb tag but got a breeding goat instead you may use it to tag
the breeding goat.
