A Word from Kayla
I borrowed these words again today but it is so important to recognize when we are in the
wrong, and quit trying to come up with excuses and just say "I was wrong, I'm sorry"...

APOLOGIZE RIGHT
If you have done something wrong or hurtful, learn to apologize sincerely without
blaming the other person or giving excuses. "I am really sorry I did _ _ _ _. I feel really
bad about it. I hope you can forgive me but I understand it might take some time. What
can I do to make it up to you?"
@brookeromneywrites When you are in the wrong, it is much more comfortable to justify
what happened by making excuses or shifting the blame, but that is not an apology.
When you apologize, be sincere, take ownership and figure out how to make amends.
This can save relationships when done correctly.
Who is still working on this one as an adult?
It's tough, but how cool to start doing it well as a teen?
