A Word from Kayla
Have You Gi ven
THANKS
For What You Have ?
Life moves fast; projects, contests, deadlines, and everything in between.
It’s easy to get caught up in the next goal and forget to pause for a moment of gratitude. My challenge to you is
simple: take time each day to be thankful. Be thankful for your family, your friends, your mentors, your animals,
your health, and the opportunities that 4-H has given you.
None of this is guaranteed, and it can all change in an instant. So don’t take today for granted. Appreciate the
people who pour into you, the lessons that shape you, and even the challenges that make you stronger.
Carry gratitude with you in how you speak, how you serve, and how you show up. It will change the way you see
everything.
I am so very thankful for our 4-H leaders who take time out of their busy schedules to provide opportunities for
our young people to explore new projects and develop their interests. I’m thankful for the parents who make it a
priority to support and participate in those opportunities. And I’m thankful for our 4-H members who show
curiosity, dedication, and a true desire to grow in their project areas.
Thank you, each of you, for what you bring to Parker County 4-H.
