AgTexas Farm Credit is proud to kick off the 10th year of our "AgYouth of the Month" program, where we
recognize and honor outstanding Seniors who are actively involved in 4-H and FFA agriculture programs. In the
first 9 years of the program, we have recognized 631 high school seniors and distributed over $186,000 in
scholarships plus $63,100 in gift cards. As well as $35,000 in Distinguished Alumni scholarships. Last year we
added to our Ag Youth program and honored three Ag Youth Leaders of the Year. Each leader received $1,000
cash prize and AgTexas made a matching donation to the chapter or club they were a leader of; adding $6,000 to
the total of nearly $264,000 awarded over the past decade.

We need your help to encourage your students to apply. At the banquet, held in April, each winner will be awarded
a $100 gift card and has the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship. Our office will recognize students from
Tarrant, Wise, Parker and Johnson counties.
