METHODS AND PLANS
For this type of photography, you will need to find an open area outside
that has little to no artificial light. What I mean by this is that you should
avoid city lights (causes light pollution and makes the stars and moon
completely invisible), house lights, etc.

UNDER SATURATED PHOTOS When taking photos in a dark area, you must always have a plan. For
example, when I take pictures of the stars or the moon, I always bring a
tripod, a notebook with settings for my camera in it, and a large zooming
lens to ensure that I will capture a clear picture of what I want to take a
picture. You can also use a flash on your camera, but this method only
works with a subject that is close (like a person or an object).

From time to time, you will get photos that are too dark or too bright,
oversaturated and undersaturated, blurry, etc. There are ways to avoid
JUST RIGHT this!

To avoid these issues, you need to set your camera to an ISO of 400-500
(the best setting for these photos in my opinion), a low f stop (size of
opening in your lens), and finally you can set your shutter speed to to
1/15 or higher. Once again, this is all in my experience, but you can play
with your settings and find more ways, because there are many ways to
find that right setting.

Just as the issues listed above, you can run into the same things while using a phone. Of course, most of the time your phone
will automatically adjust so that you can take photos. Issues will need to be edited most of the time when it comes to photos
taken
with the phone, mainly because you can’t adjust like you can with a camera.
