I placed this class of running shoes 2-3-4-1 finding an obvious top shoe in the Hoka One – Rincon, and though it checks all the
boxes, an obvious bottom in the Nike Zoom Vaporfly because it’s simply out of budget.

In my top pair I placed 2 over 3. The Hoka One Rincon is
      ·Light weight
      ·Has great support
·And useful for both speed work and long distance

Finding no obvious grant, I placed 3 over 4 in my middle pair. Though the Brooks Adrenaline does not meet Dawson’s criteria for a
shoe, it is a better option for running distance when compared to the New Balance shoe that is specifically designed for sprinting.

Admittedly the Hanzo does come in at a more affordable price.

Regrettably I place 4 over 1 in my final pair. The New Balance Hanzo falls within Dawson’s budget whereas the Vaporfly does not.

The Nike Vaporfly handedly beats all other options for a long-distance shoe and meets Dawson’s criteria however it is over budget
      and therefor remains last.
