The Christmas story is about hope, family, and working
together. The main character Diane, is a 9 year old girl
with Downs Syndrome. Diane, although excited, is
anxious about getting her family a special gift.
Children and adults will learn valuable lessons regarding
people with disabilities and how family members can
come together to support each other.
At the time this story was first written Diane is 51 years
old. She enjoys music, reading, and latch hook rug
making. Diane is a loyal New England sports fan. She
spends every Christmas with her brother Jack. They
continue to share their love and the magic of Christmas
with family and friends and the tradition of giving gifts
together.
The author, John Graziano is a lifelong educator who
works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of
children.
