The Spencer Preservation Group and ZVI Construction
have firmly established themselves as vital contributors to
The Spire's rich history, not only with their remarkable
renovations unveiled in April, but also with their generous
sponsorship of our World Music Festival on Sunday, April
13, 2024.
The festival featured a culturally diverse lineup, including a
mesmerizing Tai Chi performance by Master Fang-Chih Lee
and her students, traditional and contemporary Irish tunes
by The Lindsays, stirring Peruvian jazz guitar courtesy of
The Carlos Odria Trio, vibrant South/Central American jazz
and pop rhythms with Sambita, and the infectious Afrobeat
sounds of The Super Yamba Band and Kaleta. The
invaluable sponsorship of The Spencer Preservation Group
and ZVI Construction elevated the festival, a cornerstone
of The Spire's 10th Anniversary celebration, into an
unforgettable night of music and cultural exchange.
Based in Nahant, MA, The Spencer Preservation Group is
dedicated to the holistic preservation of historic
structures, meticulously weaving together aesthetic,
cultural, and functional considerations in their projects.
Their team, comprising seasoned preservationists,
registered architects, and skilled designers, is deeply
committed to upholding the historic integrity of both
exteriors and interiors through rigorous research and
meticulous documentation. ZVI Construction, located in
Brookline, MA, boasts over four decades of experience
across the construction spectrum, ranging from minor
renovations to multimillion-dollar ventures in academic,
commercial, healthcare, and residential sectors. ZVI’s
approach beautifully balances functionality and aesthetics,
whether upgrading Boston University’s Agganis Arena,
renovating the Vilna Shul in Boston, or reviving our very
own Spire Center.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Spencer
Preservation Group and ZVI Construction for their
unwavering support in nurturing The Spire’s continued
growth and success not only as Plymouth’s vibrant hub of
music and culture, but also as one of its most beautiful
architectural gems and historic landmarks.
