     Karidoyanes adds, “Everyone at WATD are such cherished friends to me
        and the Phil, and I am profoundly grateful.”
        Since then, every Friday at 7:11 am, Karidoyanes joins Hakala and
        Azizian for approximately 8 minutes of trivia. The conductor shares a
        hint or two about the piece or composer as the music plays. Listeners
        call in to the station, and the first person with the correct answer wins a
        prize and goes on air to reveal the answer. A bonus round for bragging rights follows.
        “We’ve had a lot of fun,” says Karidoyanes. “Some great listeners have phoned in over the past six months—including a special
        surprise caller!” Each week, Karidoyanes selects music with a theme or historical significance which he highlights as a clue. In
        June, he gave this hint: Many brides have walked down the aisle to this one! Composed during the early Baroque period, three
        different violin sections play exactly the same thing, two measures apart. “Next thing I know, someone named Amy is on the air
        with the correct answer—yes, my wife, Amy,” adds Karidoyanes. “She reminded me that this music, Canon in D by Pachelbel,
