Message from the Executive Director
Welcome, friends:
The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to once again
partner with America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration to
present Hooray for Hollywood! This concert shines a spotlight on the
unforgettable music that has defined generations of movie magic —
and we’re thrilled to feature the dazzling vocals of Jacyn Tremblay
alongside your hometown orchestra for this celebration of song and
screen.
This performance is made possible, in part, by the Town of Plymouth
Promotions Fund, whose continued support helps us share inspiring
music with our community.
As we gather during this season of gratitude, it feels especially fitting to
reflect on our 110th season theme — The Best of Times. Each concert
this year celebrates the moments that lift us, connect us, and remind
us why live music matters. From the festive joy of Hometown Holiday
to the island-inspired fun of It’s Tropical Rock, the cosmic adventure of
Spaceship Earth, the heartwarming reunion of Old Friends & New, and
the show-stopping finale, Blockbuster Broadway, this season truly offers
“the best of times” for everyone who loves great music.
On behalf of everyone at the Phil, thank you for being here and
for continuing to champion the arts in our community. May this
Thanksgiving season remind us of all of the joy, connection, and
gratitude that music brings into our lives.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Kara McEachern
Executive Director
P.S. Our Hometown Holiday concerts are nearly sold out —
don’t wait to reserve your seats for one of the most festive
events of the season!
