Message from the
Executive Director
Dear Friends,
Welcome to our second concert of the season! Tonight’s program,
Come to the Party!, is more than a title—it’s an invitation to
celebrate together. In this season we’ve called The Best of Times,
these moments of connection, joy, and discovery are at the heart of
what the Phil is all about.
We are especially excited to shine a spotlight on our principal horn,
Anne Howarth. Anne’s warm presence and exceptional musicianship
enrich every performance, and we are delighted to feature her in
tonight’s program. Her artistry reflects the very best of what live
music can offer—beauty, spirit, and a sense of shared experience.
At the Phil, our mission is simple and joyful: to create music and
educational experiences that engage people of all ages and from
all walks, because we believe music inspires curiosity, enables
connection, and provides joy. You make that mission possible. By
being here, you help keep live music thriving in our community—
onstage, in schools, and far beyond.
If this concert fills you with joy, share that experience: invite a friend
next time, consider subscribing, or make a gift to sustain our work.
Every gesture strengthens our circle of music and community.
Thank you for being part of tonight’s celebration. Let’s raise a toast
in the best way we know how—with music that brings us together.
With gratitude,
Kara E. McEachern
