Analog Devices hosts virtual panel
event on industrial connectivity
ABB, Verizon, Analog Devices and Confirm Smart
Manufacturing will explore industrial connectivity in a virtual
event on 17 May. This 60-minute virtual panel discussion
between industry experts will explore the intersection of
connectivity and Industry 4.0. The discussion will focus on themes identified in the recent ADI-
commissioned Forrester study on the topic of industrial innovation, including: the business impact of
factory digitalisation, the role of connectivity technologies (including both wired to wireless) in the

Igus products help German company
in the manufacture of face masks
The latest in the Igus video of the week series shows how
a range of the company’s products are utilised in the
production of disposable face masks. Unfortunately,
facemasks have become a staple in our lives. So much so, manufacturers have now recognised the
benefits of Igus products within this manufacturing sector. The face masks are being manufactured
by German mattress-maker Breckle. Clean, dry and lubrication-free means that all Igus products
eliminate the risk of contamination. The face mask production line makes use of Igus e-chain, drylin
linear guides, and a drylin linear robot with dryve D1 motion controller. Read more here
