        Sick’s Deep Learning brings simplicity
        to complex AI inspection applications

Sick has launched a suite of Deep Learning apps and
services to simplify machine vision quality inspection for
challenging components, assemblies, surfaces or food
produce, especially those that have previously defied
automation and remained distinguishable only by human inspection. With Deep Learning,
programmable Sick devices take decisions automatically using specially-optimised neural networks
and run accurate and reliable inspections that would have previously been extremely challenging or
simply impossible to achieve in high-speed automated processes. Read more here

Energy and data transmission rolled out

and connected in under 60 minutes

A new energy chain system for intralogistics and crane
systems has been designed by Igus. The company has
designed and manufactured the ‘autoglide 5 system’, a
unique product which guides energy safely, for long distances
and at a low cost. The Igus autoglide 5 system can be used
to manage energy, data, liquids, and air. It is ideally suited
for crane systems and intralogisticss. Igus is currently testing
the service life of the new energy chain in its 3,800 sq m test laboratory. Read more here
