mechanical PLe safety lock solution
Sick has combined its proven MB1
mechanical safety bolt for enclosed hazard
areas with its advanced TR110 non-
contact safety lock to deliver a high-
performance PLe (EN ISO 13849) safety
solution with maximum machine
availability. With IP67 or IP69K rating, the
Sick MB1 and TR110 together deliver a
robust electro-mechanical door locking and monitoring package for the
highest level of personnel protection in machinery and integration into
advanced, factory-wide safety systems. Together the MB1 and TR110 are
easy to fit and reliable in operation, offering built-in safe release for
engineers working within a hazard area, safe options open or shut locking,
and actuator coding to protect against unwanted manipulation.

Smart valve positioner improves process reliability

Bürkert has advanced the intelligent control of process
valves with the introduction of the Type 8694, the first
valve positioner on the market that offers an IO-Link digital
communication interface. To meet the latest Industry 4.0
requirements, the Type 8694 has been designed to allow
for easy integration into intelligent machines operating in
the hygienic sectors. Where the Type 8694 really
differentiates itself is its interconnectivity options to
equipment across a facility. IO-Link is an open
communication standard that can interface with all common fieldbus and
automation systems with minimal implementation work.

DIN rail power supplies with built-in
redundancy and conformal coating

The latest addition to the Puls Dimension
CP Series is a ruggedised unit featuring an
integrated high efficiency MOSFET based
decoupling function for secure power N+1
redundant operation without the need for an
external decoupling unit or use of inefficient “OR-ing” diodes. The new CP
power supply family features a 100-240V AC wide range input voltage
and an output of 24V DC rated at 10A or 20A. Ruggedised with a
conformal coated PCB the CPxx.241-R2-C1 versions are ideal for
installation in harsh environments. The power supply is suitable for use in
battery or other DC power systems and the CPxx.241-R2 models have an
enhanced input range of 88 to 360VDC.
