                                                                                      New from EMS is the Faulhaber
                                                                                     DM66200H series of hollow shaft stepper
                                                                                    motors, boasting a new direct drive
                                                                                  mechanism for applications that require a
                                                               uniquely wide aperture, while providing impressive performance values.
                                                               The DM66200H series’ direct drive uses Faulhaber’s trusted stepper
                                                               motor technology to enable the motor to run around the aperture and
                                                               directly drive the surrounding mechanics, removing the need for a
                                                               transmission. The repeatability of this technology and high holding torque
                                                               also removes the need for a brake or encoder in most cases. The motor
                                                               has a small moving mass despite its large aperature, providing speeds of
                                                               up to 2,000rpm.

                                                               save users time and money

                                                               A new chainflex cable box is proving a
                                                               best seller for Igus. The chainflex CASE
                                                               is a new logistics solution that is saving
                                                               customers both time and money. John
                                                               Barker, chainflex cable product
                                                               manager at Igus, said: “Instead of
                                                               pallet deliveries by courier, we now
                                                               deliver cables by parcel service in a recyclable box. Customers save up to
                                                               84% on their shipping cost and because the boxes are stackable; it has
                                                               never been easier to set up a customised storage at the production site.”
                                                               The chainflex CASE is also proving a popular for companies that do not
                                                               have the capacity for large or expensive cable racks.

                                                                          Omron introduces 1S Series AC servo drives
                                                                          and motors with motion safety functionality

                                                                                     servo drives and motors, which include
                                                                                     motion safety. This ensures machine
