New SLS material for electrostatically
conductive wear-resistant parts
For safe and reliable production in the electronics and
semiconductor industry, components are required that
have electrostatically conductive properties. This is
because even a small electric shock can destroy expensive
production lines. Igus has now developed a new stable
material for the SLS method so that users can make their wearing parts with ESD properties flexibly
and cost-effectively. The lubrication-free special parts made of iglidur I8-ESD can be printed and
shipped within just few days. Read more here
RS Components trebles its SKF
bearings offering to 6,000 products
RS Components has added 4,000 SKF bearings to its portfolio,
increasing the offering to a total of 6,000. This is the first step in
RS significantly increasing its SKF range offer across bearings,
power transmission and seals over the next 12 months. SKF’s
Blue range of food bearings follow innovative hygienic design
principles and are relubrication-free. The SKF spherical roller
bearings range includes CC, CA and E design bearings, sealed bearings,
and bearings designed specifically for high vibration, high speed applications. Read more here
Stäubli expands MPS robotic tool
changer range to cover all robots
Stäubli is recognised internationally as a trusted
partner across a diverse range of industry sectors.
Also credited as one of the pioneers in the
development of robotic tool changing systems,
Stäubli already offers a comprehensive product range up to 1530 kg robot payload capacity. Five
new sizes have now been launched to expand the existing MPS range, covering payload capacities
from 15kg to 80kg, enabling Stäubli to offer a robotic tool change solution for virtually all robots
and payloads. The compact range features a repeat accuracy of ±1.5µm. Read more here
