WORLD POPULATION DAY
Population Day is observed annually on July 11 every
year to highlight the problems of overpopulation and
raise awareness about the effects of overpopulation on
the environment and development , the students of
UNITED WORLD SCHOOL participated in an
asynchronous task of creating awareness among people
and raising alarms about the after effects if the situation
is not brought under control. Students participated with
great zeal and it was reflected in their posters, collages,
slogan writing, group discussions which they carried out
to highlight this global issue.
The main objective of this task was to make students
understand that "excess of anything is bad" and it
applies to everything including overpopulation.
Overall World Population Day was a learning
experience for the students of United World School.
