COBH PIRATES RFC Eithne O’Connell, Club Secretary, on behalf of Pirates RFC,
was delighted to accept a sponsorship cheque from Jonathan Lewis, acting on behalf
of the “Rugby Fest “ organisers. Also present was Paul Kenny, Club Chairman and
Charlie Daly. Our thanks to Charlie Daly and Paul Mulvihill who put in an enormous
amount of work organising the fundraiser.

Cobh Basketball Club are so proud of our U16 boys team. Great game against
Bantry. Cobh played some lovely basketball but more importantly their team spirit
shone through. Team spirit that brought them out the winners. Also super proud of
our coaches Chloe, Dave and Aileen, thx for all the time and effort you put into the
team.

Cobh Credit Union Ltd were delighted to have Manager Michael and board mem-
ber Tim present Carrignafoy Community College Parents Association with a spon-
sorship cheque. This donation will help with much needed funds to complete a new
school library for all students to enjoy.

Cobh Ramblers Sports & Social Club will host local band ‘The Burma’ in the
clubhouse on Sunday 22nd December. Tickets €10, on sale in the clubhouse and the
Wholey Ground coffee shop.
