Cobh Tidy Towns initiative sponsored by Cobh Credit Union

Following on from Cobh Tidy Towns successful drive for 5 they were back in Cobh
today with their latest initiative sponsored by Cobh Credit Union. The tidy districts
bursary has been running for a number of years now and is backed by Cobh Credit
Union. Hendrick Verwey and his crew dropped by the Credit Union today to pick up
this year’s cheque for €3,500. Hendrick thanked the Credit Union for their contin-
ued, very generous sponsorship not only this year but in the many years that the
Credit Union have been associated with the Tidy Towns.
The Credit Union for their part thanked Hendrick and the many volunteers for their
efforts in what has been an astonishing achievement for the community. The Credit
Union is all about community and we are proud to be associated with the success of
Cobh Tidy Towns.
