Rhythmus!
Experience the joy of making music with others in our weekly drum circle for ages 18 and above.
Rhythm is a universal language known to everyone. Encounter the spirit and magic of rhythm expressed on drums and percussion instruments. Join this creative venture and discover new ways to
communicate, release energy, and enjoy learning and playing rhythms from other
cultures taught by guest artists. You’ll find the experience can reduce stress, promote
wellness, relax the body, and have fun!
You don’t have to be a drummer or own a drum to participate. We will provide the instruments. Sessions will be facilitated by SCO principal percussionist, Timm Boatman and guest artists.
Program Dates: September 24, 2019 – November 5, 2019, Tuesdays, 7:00pm (program repeats February 25, 2020 – April 7 , 2020)
