everlasting righteousness.” It says, “If you have come once, you can come and will come daily.” If you have ever come to Jesus, I know how you came...you came by the Holy Spirit at the Father’s bidding (John 6:44). You came without any merits of your own.
Just as I am without one plea,
But that His blood was shed for me,
You came broken and believing. Have you forgotten that? The writer of Hebrews says every time you come to church, you are coming to all of this: this spiritual fellowship, this universal fellowship, this immortal fellowship, this divine fellowship, and this redeemed fellowship. Now, “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking” (Heb.12:25a). Amen.
