Matanggauk (Inauguration of the King of Tolitoli)
Matanggauk is a traditional ritual of the Tolitoli Kingdom in
carrying out the inauguration of King Tolitoli which has been
carried out since 1950. In 2017 the ritual was held again by
inaugurating the 17th King, H. Moh Saleh Bantilan, SH, MH with
the title "Gaukan Dei Babolantung". Furthermore, starting from
2018 onwards, it will become an annual traditional event in
commemoration of Matanggauk. So that it becomes the Main
Attraction of "Tolitoli Cultural Festival"

Matanggauk Memorial (Inauguration of the King of Tolitoli)

The ritual of the Matanggauk Commemoration is carried out for three
days by the Matanggauk Indigenous Institution and the Tolitoli
