• Wide selection of paint matching options – by computer scanning and custom mixing paint colors in-house, we can match virtually any supplied sample, PMS number, or any paint manufacture’s color number. Gemini has invested in the most advanced painting technologies to guaranteed colors that match your needs. All colors are available with a gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or matte sheen to meet any desired look.
• Quality Sign Paint – we only spray high-performance paints, designed for the Sign industry, to meet the demands of virtually any interior or exterior installation. All paints have been tested in UV Xenon and salt fog chambers.Our 3-part acrylic polyurethane is hardened and oven baked to provide a lifetime of color fastness and stability.
• Faster project readiness and shorter project lead times – all laser acrylic cutting operations are equipped with spray paint booths and ovens – under the same roof - to maintain a quality product while minimizing any lead time additions needed for painting.
• We can handle any challenge – our advanced production capabilities, along with years of custom painting experience, allow us to quickly produce detailed painted projects to help meet your deadlines – including intricate masking and detailed multi-color paint applications. And if custom painting doesn’t fit your project, we can always use our 7-color hi-resolution printer for fine detail from your vector art file.
Second Surface Painting
What does second surface mean?
1st surface – painting or printing on the face of the product – or front viewing surface (face).
2nd surface – painting or printing on the opposite side of a clear product’s face – or the back.
Advantages:
• Clear substrate helps protects paint or ink from abrasion (scratches)
• Clear substrate protects paint or ink from chemical attacks – such as
in many cleaning products
• Clear substrate protects paint or ink from vandalism (scratches –
graffiti)
• 2nd surface allows image on back with dry-erase option on face
• Clear substrate may help protect paint or ink from UV attack,
causing fading
