작가의 말

저는 종종 작은 사과 한 알을 보며, 걸어가야 할 길에 대해 생각해 보곤 합니다.
우리는 지금 가짜머리(AI)가 판을 흔드는 거대한 변화의 시대를 살아가고 있습니다.
기술의 발전은 단순한 도구의 역할을 넘어, 우리가 사고하고 살아가는 방식 자체를 바꾸고 있습니다.
한글을 배우지 않으면 글을 읽을 수 없듯, 배우지 않으면 AI도 무용지물이 될지도 모릅니다. 하지만
배우려 하면 귀찮기도 하고, 조바심이 나기도 합니다.
컴퓨터 안의 수많은 연결고리처럼 마음이 복잡해지고 혼란스럽습니다.
동시대의 흐름을 우리는 어디까지, 어떻게 받아들여야 할까요?
어떤 색의 길을 가야 하는 것일까요.

이번 전시는 저 스스로에게 던진 질문이자, 함께 고민해 보고 싶은 이야기입니다.
저는 사과(태초의 인간)를 하나의 상징으로 삼아, 우리가 마주한 시대의 고민을 담아보았습니다.
제 작품이 정답을 제시할 수는 없겠지만, 이 전시가 잠시 멈춰 서서 스스로에게 질문을 던지는 계기
가 된다면 좋겠습니다. 함께 고민하고 나누어 주시는 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

Artist’s Statement

I often find myself gazing at a single apple, contemplating the path I should take.
We are living in an era of immense transformation, where artificial intelligence (AI)is reshaping the
world around us.Technology has evolved beyond being a mere tool—it is fundamentally altering the
way we think and live.
Just as one cannot read without learning the alphabet, AI remains useless unless we learn to use it.
Yet, the process of learning can feel tedious, even frustrating. Like the countless connections within a
computer network, our minds become entangled in complexity and uncertainty. How much of this
rapidly changing world should we embrace, and in what way?Which path—what color—should we
take?

This exhibition is both a question I ask myself and a conversation I hope to share with others.I have
chosen the apple (a symbol of the first humans)as a metaphor to reflect on the dilemmas of our time.
While my works do not provide definitive answers, I hope this exhibition offers a moment to pause,
reflect, and ask meaningful questions.I sincerely thank everyone who joins me in this journey of
thought and exploration.
