Peggy Sivert
Peggy Sivert was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Palos
Verdes Peninsula. / She received a BA in Art Education
from California State University, Long Beach and an MA in
Humanities, from Cal State U Dominguez Hills / Her career
has been focused on elevating art and culture through
dedicated work as an exhibiting artist, art teacher and as
founder and curator of several art galleries and nonprofits
throughout Los Angeles, including SoLA Contemporary, a
non- profit art organization in South LA (previously South
Bay Contemporary).
