MESSAGE

MA. FELMA CARLOS-TRIA, Ed.D

Thank you delegates from all over the Philippines and the world, for actively participating in this
year’s International Research Conference. In two days, we learned about new ideas from one
another, became aware of the latest trends, and shared best practices which we could adopt to
further improve our workplace or the community we belong to. The line up of researches
opened our minds and inspired us to ask the right questions so that we may come up with the
best solutions, moving forward.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to our keynote speaker, Sec. Bernadeth Romulo-Puyat and our
plenary speakers: Dr. Zubir Azhar, Dr. Szekee Koh, Mr. John Garrity, Dr. Joeffrey Calimag, and
Ms. Jaewon Son who made this event more enlightening when they shared their wisdom on the
issues surrounding the SDGs.

What reverberated is that we are ready to take on the challenges we may face as we respond to
the demands of both the Sustainable Development Goals and the 4th Industrial Revolution. The
increased focus on the requirements for educational institutions is quite a challenge. We have a
lot of work to do.

Here’s hoping you go back to your respective institutions informed with the new knowledge you
have gained and develop a keener sense of inquisitiveness, so that we will all have an even more
engaging International Research Conference next year.
