Front of mind
• A round table sharing of what’s front of mind you and your business each
month. This is a really good warm up session and covers a whole range of
topics that are relevant to everyone.
Your business
• A business and technical farming session looking at a topic of the group’s
choice e.g. climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, drugs in
workplace and testing, payroll, HR, migrant work visas, Mycoplasma bovis
– MPI, budgeting, financial persona, mating/herd development, herd
management – CRV, LIC, Dairybase benchmarking, governance, antibiotic
resistance in cows, riparian planting and much more.
Getting to know you
• Listen to the stories of current and emerging leaders in the dairy industry,
learn how they got where they are today. Get to know them and connect.
Who would you like to know more about? You could start with members of
your group sharing their stories.
Growing you
• A personal development session: can use Lean In resources, personality
testing within the group. Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year 2018 Loshni
Manikam - coaching for a day. Gallup strength finder.
Your view
• Make a controversial statement, explore the group conversation. Round
table discussion, debate about a particular topical issue, industry wide e.g.

“MPI should eradicate mycoplasma bovis from NZ”. Reflection – what was
going on for each member of the group during this session.
Celebrating you

go home feeling good about.
Helping you

and thinking to help another member of the group through a current
challenge in their business.
