I stand on top of a mountain,
Staring across the great expanse,

Of the never-ending landscape,

Which the setting sun has enhanced.

The darkish hue,

The rising shadow,

Overcomes the color,

Originally seen in the meadow.

As the majestic sun sets,

The sky is filled by this pinkish-orange glow.

I sit on a stone nearby,
And watch the fog grow.

The fog entraps the entire landscape,

Now the sky has turned pinkish-blue,
The temperature around me drops,

As the wind blows through.

The sun slowly hides behind the mountain,
As the moon peaks out,

Letting its slivery rays,

Emerge out.

The sky has now turned a violet blue,

The stars have begun twinkling,

The day has finally ended,

As the night begins anew.

It was this sight,

This beautifully painted view,

That I wished,
