Since 1981, The Snare Shop has been working hard to be a leader in the snaring and trapping industry;
manufacturing snares to the highest of standards right here at our shop in Lidderdale, Iowa.

Quality Matters
We believe that a quality product will deliver results. In order to build a high quality product; we use high qual-
ity parts. And the most important component to any snare is the cable. If the cable does not perform properly,
your snare will not perform properly. Resulting in missed catches. All of the cable we use here is Korean cable;
a high standard cable at an affordable price. We have strict guidelines that our cable must meet and perform
at. The second key component to a snare is the lock. Our Micro Lock is an industry leading lock and is a top
performer. There are a lot of locks out on the market today and it can be quite overwhelming on which one
to choose. Each one serves its’ own purpose and will perform better or worse under certain conditions. We en-
courage you (if your state laws allow) to try several different lock and cable combinations until you find the one
that works the best for you. Another key component is the swivel. We manufacture ALL of the snare swivels
right here at our shop. Quality control is number one. We make sure that the 9 gauge and 11 gauge swivels are
built right and operate correctly. One last component that makes our snares stand out is our universal twist on
support collar. It can be used with almost any size of support wire you have. (unlike the wammy collar which
is wire and cable size specific). Just give it a twist (with a left hand thread)and your snare stays in place. Like
we said before, quality components delivery results. If you are not seeing a snare we stock to your specifica-
