Pre-Tax Advantage
Under the pre-tax premium plan, you pay medical, dental and vision contributions with pre-tax dollars. This means that
your share of the cost is taken off the top of your gross pay before taxes are withheld. With this advantage, you save
state, federal, and FICA taxes, which amounts to about 25% to 30% of the contributions, depending on your tax
bracket.
