RE: Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage)
The attached annual notice, which is required by law, provides important information about the
prescription drug coverage provided by the Office of the Commissioner that may affect your decision
to enroll in Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage should you and/or your family become eligible
to do so.
Although this notice may or may not apply to you, it may apply to your dependents covered by the
Major League Baseball League-Wide Insurance Plan if they are eligible for Medicare and are opting
for Part D coverage.
Note, Medicare coverage is available to those attaining age 65 (whether or not still working),
and/or those receiving social security disability benefits.
If you or your family members are not eligible for Medicare, then you may disregard this
notice.
