Dahlia was born in beautiful Klondike, Arizona on May 8, 1920. Her father was a cattle rancher and her momma, a housewife. In fact, she and her siblings thought that they were “hot stuff” because they ordered their clothes through a catalog!

Dahlia witnessed the advancement of science such as the inventions of the space shuttle, microwave oven, pace maker, the internet, and the moon landing. She also, experienced the evolution of the automobile, washing machine, television, a rotary telephone to a cell phone. Lived through five major wars, 15 deadly viruses, 18 presidents, and knew how to access pictures from a cell phone prior to passing away.
